MUNICH JEWELLERY WEEK 2026

Although the DUNG30N doesn't require cult members to focus on a specific subject, this exhibition explores a world as if it has hit the 'Error 404 – page not found' screen. Together, we are witnessing what feels like the collapse of social and global power structures in real time, with programs shutting down and constant redirections toward the next “best” solution or hasty fixes.

As artists we ask: what is our place in a time of uncertainty and turmoil? How can we communicate when people are misinformed, disconnected, unconcerned, and not paying attention? How do we move forward together when every attempt generates another error code? We’re left not only to make work, but to repair broken links that must be restored to share our thoughts and emotions.

The DUNG30N asks the cult to reroute and partake in a side quest: create your own response using the dungeon’s lexicon and explore what it means to recode our views of the world. By asking artists from different backgrounds to venture on a sidequest, and bypass the Error 404 - page not found screen, we construct new links, forge unexpected connections, and reroute past the glitches we face.
